Final Steps to Closing

Final Steps to Closing

Pre Closing Walk-Through Inspection

Typically scheduled a day before or the day of closing, this last visit allows the buyer to confirm that the property is in the agreed-upon condition, all included items remain, and no unexpected issues have surfaced.

Utilities and Services

We’ll provide you with a list of contacts to assist in canceling or transferring utilities and services. This ensures a smooth transition for both you and the buyer.

Be Prepared

Even at the final stage, unexpected issues can come up. A delay in bank processing, a minor repair need, or paperwork inconsistencies. Our team has the experience to resolve last-minute hiccups quickly and without stress.

The Closing

At closing, your attorney or escrow agent will present a 3inal settlement statement outlining all 3inancial terms. Both the buyer and seller will review and sign the necessary legal documents. If you’re unable to attend in person, we can arrange a remote closing through a power of attorney, provided we have advance notice.

As the seller, you’ll choose whether to receive funds by wire transfer or a Bank issued certified check. Keys and any other essential documents or property-related items should be provided at this time.

At Terra Azul Real Estate, we make sure your transaction ends as smoothly and confidently as it began.
